This videogame movie renaissance also means that AAA titles aren’t the only ones headed towards the big screen, as we’ve also been graced with surprisingly entertaining adaptations of smaller games like Josh Ruben’s recent Werewolves Within.
From Netflix’s Castlevania to Sonic the Hedgehog and even the upcoming Resident Evil reboot, it feels like studios are finally hiring genuine fans to helm these productions. Fortunately, recent years have been kinder to gamers who also like to see their favorite franchises tackle other mediums. Anderson’s Mortal Kombat and Christophe Gans’ Silent Hill, it’s easy to understand why videogame adaptations were once regarded as the lowest form of cinema. overall the game is okay, i may replay one day but i wont replay it like i do the first game.While I think there’s a case to be made in defense of films like Paul W.S. the game was fun at the start, not fun in the middle and meh at the end but the ending is incredibly well done and i couldnt ask for anything else. i also wish there were more bosses like in the first game, which is a bit of a let down because the bosses in HM are really fun especially the final one, and when they tried to do a boss fight it'd be over way to quickly.
i like difficult things but not when the game is constantly against you and thats how i felt during his scenes. a lot of the problems occurred in the mid game for example all of pardo's scenes were way to difficult to be fun. but for me the negatives are too much, first off some of the enemy placements are just cheap and annoying, some of the areas are incredibly difficult for the sake of being annoying. ill start with the positives: the game starts off strong and ends well, the characters are great with good dialogue, the art and graphics are really good and the soundtrack is one of the greatest soundtracks ever.
HM2 however isnt that good compared to it. First off, i really liked the first, its one of my favourite games.
